For these adults, youth, and families, homelessness is not a choice, and each person experiences it differently.

OUR MISSION

The mission of The Reach Out Project is simple:

We hand out full backpacks to those who are experiencing homelessness. We are a team that endeavors to help the homeless in the Calgary area.

Our backpacks are meant to deliver hygiene supplies, light snacks, and seasonal accessories to people in need.

OUR VALUES

It is our experience that a ten-minute conversation can dispel a lifetime of assumptions about homelessness and the people who experience it. An open mind, heart, and ear are all it takes to understand how little separates someone who is homeless from someone who is not.
