共建一個男女平等、有愛和關懷的香港!/ Let’s build an equal, loving and caring Hong Kong!

香港縱使是一個文明社會，女性議題卻是多年來都沒有停止過。在這裡，不是每一位女性都能活得輕鬆自在，很多人依然因為自己的經歷和遭遇而掙扎。既然誰都無法選擇自己的出身、性別，我們到底什麼時候才能學懂包容？

本次是為婦女動力基金 HER Fund籌款，透過捐款推動香港性別平等的工作。女性議題，很多時候都和我們的生活息息雙關，更有時候我們會不自覺地標籤了別人，而自己不知道。

婦女動力基金一直致力推動女性人權和性別平等，支持對象以邊緣社群的婦女為主。她們往往受到社會制度及文化的排斥，是資源最少、聲音最微弱、需要最常被忽視的一群，甚至連應有的基本人權也被剝奪。基金的撥款目的是希望增強她們個人和團體的能力，讓她們能改變所身處的社會環境，建立更美好的生活。

基金撥款重點是：消除歧視、暴力、貧窮，及推動女性公民參與。基金的小額撥款，發揮種子基金的作用，讓新工作項目能夠萌芽、發展及推動社會改變，從而改善邊緣社群女性處境。

婦女動力基金不只是資助機構，也是所有資助伙伴的同行者。很多資助伙伴都是新成立或發展中機構，缺乏資源。婦女動力基金除了撥款，亦會因應資助伙伴的需要而作出全面支援，令邊緣女性的組織及其工作能可持續地發展。 婦女動力基金網頁：https://www.herfund.org.hk/tc/

Light of Women 女生站起來 音樂會，是籌款活動的重頭戲，於2019年10月11日舉行，共10隊本地女歌手及樂手於台上發光發亮，喚起大家對身邊女性的關注。門票等收益及其他途徑的捐款扣除開支後，全部撥捐婦女動力基金 HER Fund，希望大家能支持！

Although Hong Kong is a metropolitan city, it does not mean that every women is living freely and equally. Many of women are struggling because of what they have gone through. We all know that nobody can choose their background nor gender. Then when will we learn to understand and respect?

This page is to raise fund for a local charity called HER Fund. HER Fund committed to empowering the capacity of marginalized women to become self-sufficient, enabling them to create, lead, and sustain better lives. Our 4 main focus in grant-making are : "Freedom from Discrimination", "Freedom from Violence", "Freedom from Poverty", and "Promote Women’s Civil Participation".

Their priority is given to marginalized women who have been collectively disadvantaged because of their social positions. These marginalized women are systematically declined of their rights, opportunities and resources that are normally available to members of society and are the key to social integration. They are the least resourceful, lack voices, and often their needs and human rights are being denied.

Their small grants support is a seed grant and a unique source that allow new initiatives for marginalized women to realize and to grow.

HER Fund is not just a funder, but also a companion to all our grantee partners. Many of our grantee partners are new or evolving groups/organizations who lack resources. In addition to giving them financial grants, HER Fund also provides comprehensive support, for we see this as away to empower marginalized women and their work to achieve sustainability and impactful development. Light of Women Concert is the main event of the whole fund raise programme. 10 groups of Hong Kong singers/ performers gather and perform on 11 Oct 2019, to remind the importance to care about women around you. Together, WE CAN BUILD HONG KONG INTO A GENDER EQUAL, LOVING AND CARING CITY.
