Campaign Story
Richard King and Alice Hamilton have signed up to travel 1,318 miles over 3 days across Europe with the Driving Ukraine team to deliver a vehicle that is destined for work on the Ukrainian frontline.
The Invasion of Ukraine has been going on for almost 2 years now and Driving Ukraine has been running a project supplying vehicles to the Ukrainian frontline since the start www.DrivingUkraine.org
The team have transported 70+ vehicles to Ukraine since the start of the war and Richard and Alice have put their hands up to make the journey.
Alongside DrivingUkraine, Richard and Alice are raising £1600 to pay for the transport of the vehicle they're driving from Oxfordshire, England to Lviv, Ukraine (1,300miles) and then onwards travel to Eastern Ukraine's frontline (750miles), where the vehicle will begin work. These funds will also sponsor modifications and upgrades that will make the vehicle appropriate for its new life, such as Mud Terrain tyres and a camouflage paint job.
