Campaign Story
On Monday, 4/5, Brooklyn was hit by a speeding car while playing with some of the neighborhood dogs at Lemon Hill. Brooklyn was immediately rushed to VSEC, where she remains. The biggest issue Brooklyn is facing is a punctured lung. She also sustained trauma to her chest cavity, resulting in some cardiac issues as well. COVID has made this nightmare scenario even more difficult as Brooklyn’s mom, Shannon, hasn’t been able to visit Brooklyn because of COVID protocols. Some of the neighborhood dog parents have started this Go Fund Me to help Shannon raise money for surgery to repair the hole in Brooklyn’s lung so she can be discharged from VSEC and continue her recovery at home. Brooklyn is a young, sweet, energetic pup who deserves this second chance at life, and we greatly appreciate any support you’re able to offer.
