Could you imagine packing your whole life into a U-haul in 2 days to move from Virginia to New York? Her story is unbelievable. Angie moved to New York last year with her 2 boys Bryce (14) and Lance (10). Her sons’ father passed away January 2016 natural causes so took them by surprise. Keeping life normal for her boys was her main objective by having friends around, letting them visit family, staying with their grandparents when they wanted, sports, vacations, and to love life. When family turns on one another things will never be the same as she found out when her parents tried to get custody of her boys for their social security money. The emotional and mental abuse those boys went through shouldn’t even be in movies. End results her parents couldn’t prove anything unfit about her; she had her boys. After court her own brother took her waterline from the springhouse because he wanted her to hand him money. Her not related but the only brother she has called her said they’ll never stop that’s not fair to those boys pack your stuff sis and get those boys here. Boys adjusted well and truly love it here. Her family still dragged her in and out of court until NY took over jurisdiction of orders in April this year. No contact from her parents until Lance’s birthday the grandma called and sent a package. No contact from them since and Bryce’s birthday was July 29 and no one called and no package. Hunter is her oldest son still in VA he’s 22 and a Bullrider but has nothing to do with his mom or brothers unless money is involved. I asked her how she hasn’t lost her mind and she smiles saying it’s love for my boys. They didn’t ask for their dad to die and family to go crazy and its my job to protect them and raise them to be men. She stays home with them to ensure the boys feel safe and loved but I can tell money is a problem. I could write for days to describe this woman but ultimately she’s an intelligent compassionate human with impeccable strength. She’s got a BS in criminal justice, was a PO for 10 years. Can run heavy equipment, has Class A CDL, can run an office on her own, and that’s just a few of her accomplishments. Her original plan was to get her Master’s in Psychology so she could reach out to people that don’t believe in themselves. I’m asking for donations to help her fulfill that dream. To walk through the darknesses of hell in Virginia to be here smiling - keeping her boys safe and happy at all cost set the bar high as a definition of a mother. Yet she desperately wants to further her education to help others I think that’s PAY IT FORWARD - let’s come together to help plant their roots here without struggling while she goes back to school. Then the rest of her life will be dedicated to spread love and strength to those in need. Let’s show these boys how New York families help each other and give them some NEW YORK Love!!
