Campaign Story
From 2014-2017 I was my parents caregiver. Dads Alzheimer's surfaced around 2012 and by 2013 we knew we had to provide care. We moved mom and dad from Florida back to Michigan and the sibling unit was strong. My brother was first in line to provide care but Alzheimer's turned dad dark and angry. My brother had to give up caring for dad leaving me to pick up the pieces. I had a successful small remolding business, in a town an hour away, and the switch to caregiver couldn't have hit me at a worse time. I had 2 jobs going and more lined up. I was able to finish up the 2 I had going but had to decline the others in queue. Over the 3 years caring for dad my business lost momentum and cash flow. I was still able to do some work to try and keep my bills paid but was always barely making my monthly obligations. Dad passed in 2017 and now I'm left trying to put my business back together. I have accumulated a 40,000 IRS bill that I need help with. Any support would be greatly appreciated.
