On Thurs 17th January 2013 our Team recd final go ahead to put together an educational WW1 Remembrance Centre to remember the efforts of all from the 1914 - 18 war. It will be based at Fort Widley on Portsdown Hill overlooking historic Portsmouth, UK and will cover the years 1912 - 1939 with main efforts on 14 - 18 .

Opening Sat 30th March 2013 at Fort Widley beside Churchillian Pub on Portsdown Hill, Portsmouth.
Has shop /reception;
WW1 display room with mix of real artefacts and repro items;
Room with walk thru' trench system;
Memorial area, plus more.
Open from 10.30am to 6pm
Adults £3,
Children, Senior Citizens, Students £2
IMPORTANT PLEASE NOTE : The Fort is a grade 1 listed building and for the moment access to the centre is by means of stairs only.
