Make Me a Boat Builder

My name is Paul Westlake and I need your help!

After working in an industry I didn't really enjoy for over 10 years I have recently found myself unemployed for the first time since leaving school. The time I have spent job hunting and researching options open to me have led me to the decision that I don't want to keep doing a job I don't enjoy and neither do I want to be unemployed.

I have found an amazing course which would allow me to fulfill my ambition and become a Boat Builder. The skills and qualifications I will acquire from this course will not only help to secure my future and that of my partner and two young children, but will help to keep this ancient and tradition craft alive.

So.... Now to the nitty gritty of money. This course is expensive! Not only will I have to pay the fees but also accommodation and living costs as I will be away from home 5 days a week. With no savings or income and with two small people to fund it is impossible for me to generate this money myself so any donations would be very gratefully recieved. I will of course continue to job hunt until I am able to start the course and will be saving what I can towards fees.

By helping me to realise this dream I will hopefully soon be in a position where I can help others by passing on my skills and maybe even give someone like me a job in the future.
