US$1,252.50Donated So Far
On the 9th June 2012 Richard Ford suffered a massive and unexpected brain stem stroke whilst at home with his wife and 3 young sons.
Richard was a skilled Detective Constable, junior football coach, marathon runner and a fabulous Husband and Daddy.
With his brain starved of oxygen for 8 hours, this stroke has left Richard dependant on nursing for his every need and daily care.
Richard does however have stammina, determination and a will to get better and return home to his family.
He is making small, slow, encouraging steps on his long, arduous road to recovery.
The trust has been set up as an ongoing fundraiser. It is hoped that with the generous donations given, that Richard's future rehabillitation and recovery costs once he leaves hospital will be eased.
Every donation given is truly appreciated. Richard is overwhelmed by people's kindness and thoughtfulness.
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE FROM THE DEEPEST CORNER OF OUR HEARTS AND REMEMBER...BELIEVE!
