Help this ongoing fundraising campaign by making a donation and spreading the word.I know money is short but i have no one i can turn to for help with the money for the scooter so please could people help me save up for a mobility scooter so I will be able to help take my kids to school and to the park when the weather is good, my partner currently dose everything for me and the kids and looks after the house and I want to help him in some way as he’s not too well his self and I would like to be able to get out of the house and to let me be a mum to my kids while they are still young by taking them to the park and to be more free and to able to be able to do the little jobs that I use to take for granted that I cant normally do i.e. go to the shop for milk and that thank you all for your time Here is the scooter I’m saving up for
I know that the goal is higher than the scooter price but I am unsure if I will have to pay VAT or not also from a £2 donation I got on here I only got £1.73, but if £1000 the goal is reached any money left over after buying the scooter WILL go to a charity
They have said I can pay by instalments but will not have it till its fully played off which is fine by me
Thanks to everyone that helps as having a scooter will make a big difference not only for me but for all my family
Here’s a little bit more about me and my family
My name is Danielle Rowland, I’m 27 but feel like I’m 87 most of the time, I live with my partner Dean Beaumont who is 30, and we have been together 9 years we have 3 beautiful kids, Jamie who is 8, Jade who is 6, and Melody who is 3, and I love them all to bits and they mean the world to me. Anyways, I have many health problems even though I look like any other normal person, I have problems related to my back (a slipped disk), I also have EDS (Ehlers Danlos Syndrome) which affects nearly all of my joints which makes walking and other daily activity’s very painful, I also have Fibromyalgia which makes my skin painful to the slightest touch most of the time, and at the beginning of the year 2014 I lost all my hair due to alopecia (thankfully my hair is growing back due to steroid meds off the doctors which affect my immune system and has made me put on quite a bit of weight which does not help with walking) I also have 2 types of epilepsy gran-mal and none epileptic attacks which mostly affect me on a night or if I have not slept too well, due to my health problems I don’t get out much since I can’t walk far and I get scared of been stuck if I walk too far and then not be able to get back, but when I do go out its only to go to the doctors or to the dentist by taxi but having a scooter would change everything for me, and I wouldn’t have to ask dean or my kids to do everything for me which would be a large weight lifted of my partner deans shoulders as he is not well his self as he is diabetic type 2 and has joint problems of his own and he could be looking at a knee replacement at some point down the line he also could have another medical problem but at this time we don’t know so I can’t say,
UPDATE On Deans Medical problems 07/01/2015
Other half’s come back from the scan and x-ray… He does not have cancer YAY!! but his right Kidney is a mass of cists and left Kidney is also more enlarged probably compensating for his right kidney, he's also got a large cist in his prostate on the right side and his right testicle is more or less one big cist and a small cist in his left spermatic cord and a varicocele vein that goes from his testicles in to his pelvis , he also has a kidney stone in his left kidney and a large bladder stone. But we just have to wait now till his doctor gets the results of his x-ray and the full results of the scan to see what will happen next which will take 1-2 weeks, but they have said he may need op's at a later date or sooner we dont know yet, but they may want to remove his right testicle and possibley one for his kidney and prostate depending on if the cists get bigger and all that which i hope they dont get bigger, as he is my rock so please can people help me raise the money for a scooter so I can be he’s rock thank you all for your time and everything.
i just want to say thank you to the people who have sheared this post and to the few people who have donated what they can as every little bit helps and makes a difference wether its sharing the post or donatting
