<3 ALL FOR EVIE <3

Evelyn Merriman's journey started out as a bouncy little 5yr old who started showing signs of a basic virus on Labor Day 2012.  After three weeks of medical tests, multiple doctor visits, and worsening symptoms, Evie was admitted to University of Baltimore Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.  She then endured three horrific days of blood draws, cultures, bone marrow biopsies, spinal taps, and blood transfusions. Evie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia on September 24, 2012. 

Throughout the past year, Evie has endured multiple hospital stays, surgeries (including having a central line port placed in her chest), chemo treatments, and weakly 4 hour round trips to the hospital.  Although Evie has proven to be a fighter and still wears her priceless smile, her journey is far from over.  Evelyn will spend at least the next five years receiving chemo through IV, spinal taps, and oral medication.

We are running in the Baltimore Running Festival on October 12, 2013 and raising money to help little Evie with her medical and travel expenses.  Please help us by donating to this precious little angel.  Thanks!! XOX
