Brandon Fregm and Matt Wineholt from Brogue Pa. drove to New Jersey to purchase a truck on March 9 2015 and were pulled over for a seat belt violation. Police searched the car without probable cause and found a legally permitted handgun owned by Fregm. They were immediately arrested and thrown into the general population of Somerset County jail. They are out on bond for now. They could go to jail for 3 1/2 years if convicted.
We are asking for donations, a simple two-dollar donation, not much more than a cup of coffee or a fountain soda to help to fight New Jersey for arresting and imprisoning two people for legally having a firearm in their car. The retainers for the both attorneys were 17,500 dollars and that is just the start.
In the state of New Jersey they have a law called the Graves act. In New Jersey it is illegal to posses a gun legally owned and licensed in another state. Due to New Jersey’s “Graves Act” firearm laws, if convicted, the lowest sentence a judge may give them must include a three (3) year prison term with no chance of parole. They committed no crime nor had intention of doing so. If they are convicted they will then be felons. I see absolutely no way this would benefit anyone, not them, not New Jersey and surely not American people. They didn't harm anyone, intend to harm anyone or committed any crime. We have called upon two of New Jersey's best attorneys recommended by the NRA Evan Nappen and Gary Needleman. This is a Shenaan Allen case all over again. We need to send a message to the leaders of our country that we will not stand for any infringement of our Second Amendment rights to legally Right to Bear Arms ! We will do everything within our reach to stop this madness, we need your help to right this wrong by fighting the New Jersey State and keep them from becoming felons by the Graves Act. Please help by donating. Thank you.
