2013 National Student Medical Conference

Hi my name is Jazmyne Woodbury, this summer I will be representing my high school as a part of the 2013 LeadAmerica Medicine and Healthcare Conference at John Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland. During this conference I will be attending medical workshops, shadowing doctors, getting an opportunity to perform clinical exams and learn how to face challenges of emergency medicine scenarios. I will also gain a firsthand experience of college life as I stay on campus in the dorms for a week. This experience will give me an opportunity to earn 2 college credits and help decide on what path I would want to take in the medical field. My whole life I've been dreaming of a career in the medical field and this opportunity will be a big stepping stone in fulfilling my goal.
