2013 Dano Wert Racing Program

Our 2012 AHDRA season is complete, but not nearly the way we wanted it to be.  Dano Wert Racing (DWR) program set very high goals for 2012. DWR started development of a brand new “Clean Sheet of Paper” designed AHDRA Pro Gas bike, that we early on nicknamed the “Pro-Fast” bike. The bike was designed to meet the requirements of several sanctioning body rule books all having different names for their classes, therefore the name “Pro-Fast”.

After a successful 2011 season earning the AHDRA Pro Modified National Championship in a run away fashion, we set our goals to build the first 200 MPH, sub 6.50 second V-twin gas powered bike. By bringing together some of the most powerful and highly recognized companies in the motorcycle & car drag racing community, we hoped that we would be able to have the bike completed and tested prior to the start of the racing season in April of 2012. As with all projects of this magnitude we had huge obstacles to overcome and the engine was not completed till mid July. With all of the other associated development that was required we did not actually get to test the bike prior to its debut at Bristol in August. We continued our testing and development through the month of August when we had a severe set back at Woodburn, Oregon the last weekend in August. In the 1^st round of eliminations our rider Bruce “Seven” Croneberger III battling a cross wind, hit the wall hard twice. He brought the bike back under control but in doing so severely injured his hand that required extensive surgery the following day. Initial recuperation timeline was 4 to 6 weeks minimum to return to normal activities but racing a 200 mph bike is not normal and his surgeon was hesitant of releasing him earlier. So we made a decision to allow him to heal properly and cancel the balance of our season with 2 races on our schedule remaining. DWR will still garner a 3^rd place in the AHDRA National Points Championship for our efforts. Seven also will finish 2012 with his 8^th & 9^th AHDRA National Championships in Hot Street & Street Pro.

Just recently the NHRA has announced the formation of the NHRA Screamin’ Eagle Championship Motorcycle Series, a 10 race series at NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Divisional events beginning in 2013. In addition to the already scheduled 6 AHDRA races as well as the potential for 3 Manufacturer’s Cup races and several other ADRL & MiRock events, DWR will have a very full racing schedule in 2013. We will be traveling nationally again this year so your anticipated exposure will be to a national audience and there is a great opportunity that the NHRA events will be televised on one of the major sports channels.

The motorcycle industry and the US economy in general have turned a corner and have recovered slightly from its depressing start of this decade. Many companies are now looking to scale up their previously reduced advertising budgets. DWR can provide you with a service in the form of advertising to a focused audience. Something new this year we will also entertain localized sponsorship packages for a single event so that your advertising dollar is focused in your existing market area.

DWR is offering opportunities to certain select manufacturers. All sponsors will be prevalently displayed and will receive high exposure at each venue. DWR can offer several different approaches for you to be part of the Dano Wert Racing Program.

We currently are carrying a few sponsors over from last year that wanted to participate in multi-year deals. Sponsorship packages range from monetary support to product support programs.
