10th Anniversary Walt DisneyWorld Trip

So here is our story...

My husband Travis and I (Katie) have been married almost 10 years. For our honeymoon, we stayed 1 night at the Paradise Pier Hotel at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim (we were living in Anaheim at the time) and then spent the next rainy day at Disneyland. I fell the minute we walked out the door of the hotel into the rain, so I pretty much hobbled thru the day with a sore knee. Dont get me wrong we had a great day and we loved it, as it was all we could afford, but, we have always really wanted to go on a "real" Honeymoon. We have decided to continue our Disney theme and go to Walt Disney World!

Things were a bit rough for us for a time, there was a 3 year period where I was out of work after being laid off and couldn't find a job, also, during that time my Mother, Marsha was in Michigan, dying of a rare form of cancer, Peritoneal Mesothelioma. She passed away July 25, 2009. We basically lived off of Travis's wages and our credit cards, which we had almost paid off before this. I thankfully finally got another job that I am still at today and am so grateful for that, but we are still trying to pay off the debt from being out of work for so long.

So what do we need this fundraiser for you ask? Travis and I would really love to take a trip to Walt Disney World for our 10th Anniversary and not go deeper into debt doing it...So I'm putting this out there in the hopes that we can get some help paying for this dream of ours, any amount will help and will be accepted and greatly appreciated.  I would even be happy with some American Airlines Miles, I have enough for one way for one person... :)
