鑑於傳媒多次報導大量警察涉嫌使用過份武力或濫權的個案，612基金於8月12日宣佈預留500萬元支援受影響市民向警察提出民事申索及司法覆核等，當時基金尚未正式收到申請。目前，基金正支援 8 宗民事案件的法律費用。
但其實個案遠遠不止8宗！兄弟爬山, 本次眾籌係同612兩個義務團隊, 在612預留500萬之外, 另外再籌俾手足告黑警暴力濫⼀⼁⼃⼂⼀⼁⼁
