The *Untended Ten are 10 darling puppies that just wanted a chance. They were just 6 weeks old, covered in a fungus, known as Ringworm, which cause lesions that are patchy, crusted circular “bald spots.” The shelter wanted so desperately to save these sweet affectionate puppies, but they didn't have the means, and the fungus is extremely contagious! The date of their impeding euthanasia was coming too fast! So they put a call out to rescue after rescue looking for someone who had the means and will to care for them. After many tries, with no success, they found Pack N Pounce Animal Rescue. We at Pack N Pounce don't have a lot of money, we are small and don't have a lot of fosters. But what we do have a lot of is Heart! We had a quick discussion and in just a few seconds knew that we are the ones to help these puppies. But we can't do it alone. Pack N Pounce is 100% volunteer based. We have the (wo)manpower, we have the will, we know the way. We need you to make that way possible!
10 puppies with medical needs can be a huge undertaking! The *Untended Ten need medication daily, regular bathes in medicated shampoo, worming medication, vaccinations, spay/neutering. Pack N Pounce is 100% volunteer based, so please know that any donation is accepted and appreciated, but also that it will go to the animals in need. If we are so lucky as to raise more than what these pups are estimated to need, there will be many others animals that are also in need and all extra funds will go to save more deserving pets.
So please help the *Untended Ten! And maybe you get to help a few other furbabies too!
*Untended Ten- meaning 10 puppies that were abandoned without proper care before coming to be in a shelter then rescue.
