Salute!

We are a new chapter of 12 members who are actively seeking to educate the community through various programs. We have several programs being developed such as educational classes for the youth, internship classes, summer youth athletic programs, reading book clubs, CD & music program, political reading/study groups and many others.

We also teach others about the need to provide adequate medical and legal care for our political prisoners. We hope to engage families of loved ones locked up as well as the community in addressing their needs and advocating for their freedom. We would like to bring many positive programs and awareness to the communities as we build our chapter.

We are currently tabling and holding small fundraisers for our needs but could use some help from like-minded individuals who seek to help make a difference towards freedom.

Oakland Jericho members and others have recently completed a CD with PP/POW Jalil Muntaqim's poetry and writings. It will hopefully compliment the release of his new book "Escaping the Prism, Fade to Black, published by AK Press https://www.akpress.org/escaping-the-prism-fade-to-black.html

It will be the first in a series of CD's in honor of and for Jalil, a freedom fighter who dedicated his life to the cause of freedom and end to oppression, racism and injustices. It is our hopes that the CD will educate others, as well as provide funds for Jalil's parole campaign and other legal needs.

Our main goal right now is to raise approximately $989 to produce 1000 copies of Jalil Muntaqim's recently completed CD.
