Campaign Story
I am raising funds to help provide my wonderful husband with a place where he can get some time out from his day to day duties as a husband, father and carer.
I suffer from joint hypermobility syndrome and fibromyalgia making it difficult for me to do the things that others take for granted such as cooking and cleaning, walking and simply picking up our two year old daughter without being in considerable pain. It also means that I become very fatigued. My husband works full time and yet still comes home and does the cooking, cleaning, washing and cares for me and our three daughters. He rarely has a moment to himself and when he does he usually spends it helping other friends and family members with some DIY or tech problem they are having.
He has given up so much to take care of me, the kids and the house I want to give something back. I would like to get him a shed/cabin in the garden - a room for him away from the day to day hussle and bussle. Somewhere he can go for 10 minutes to breathe and switch off, a place that does not involve me, work or the kids. Please help me to make this a reality for the most generous and caring man anyone could wish to meet - and who I am lucky enough to be married to.
