Thank you for taking the time to read this.  For a more detailed history of Nicole, please feel free to visit her Caringbridge site at: Nicole's Caringbridge

Here are the basics. Nicole had a large tumor in her spine which was removed in 2010. This left her unable to walk. Her Doctors had hopes for her to walk again, however, she has not been able to get the proper therapy to help her have the best chance at walking. Someone found a standing frame for a steal, but it is missing the essential knee pads for it. The knee pads aren't just for comfort, they are necessary to hold her into the standing frame.

We don't like to ask for monetary help,  however, in this situation I(Nicole's sister) feel it is necessary. Nicole applied for help from a special program the county has, and she is in a waiting list. However, there is no guarantee they would help with this particular item, nor is there any way to know how long it might take for someone else to get off the program for her to get on(could be years!!). I don't want Nicole to wait any longer; I want her to have the best opportunity to possibly be able to walk again. The longer she waits, the less likely she will ever walk again.

She has a young son to raise, and being able to walk again would be so wonderful for them.  Thank you so much for considering a donation to help Nicole. She would be so grateful for your assistance.
