Campaign Story
I am asking for donations for our brother Junior Butler, he was wrongfully charged for a serious crime that he didn't do or know about, he answered a call from a person who he thought was his friend to come and pick him up, this was a person that he had known for 20 plus years. Long story short he was charged and convicted with aiding and abetting and sentenced to 7 years imprisonment. The friend received 30 months and he received 7 years for driving. If my friend called me to come and pick them up, thats exactly what I would do! That is the only wrong thing he did. He was at the wrong place at the wrong time. He is person who has no background and he hasn't been in trouble before. He comes from a strong, religious, and caring family. This is not his character . This circumstance was a once in a life time mistake in judgment. I believe that a extended prison term will serve as a tremendous hardship for his eight children, four whom where receiving support. I am asking for sincere help for any funds so that his family can help hire a Federal Criminal Attorney for an Appeal. A Federal Attorney can charge anywhere from $20,000 and up and between my sisters, cousin and other friends, we have exhausted all of our funds to help him, so I am requesting friends, relatives and even strangers for help. $1, $2 or whatever you are able to donate would help tremendously. I truly believe in my heart and without a doubt that our brother is innocent. He is a brother, father and son."Any funds provided will be used for his attorney fees and his children. This sitation and circumstance is very hard, especially when you know your love one is innocent and when your not accustomed to asking people for donations. We have exhausted all of our funds and we truly need to blessed or a blessing to come through for our brother. I think people should get involve because any one of us could be in the same situation and you never know what falls on you later on down the road or in life. It could just very well be one of your family members or someone that is dear to you. I request, and plea for help, to help my brother so that the federal attorney can properly examine all the evidence that was missed, overlooked or that the government wouldn't let the attorney present. Please find in your heart to donate for this fund.

Please find it in your heart to donate, this is a case where my brother, who has a heart of gold and would do almost anything for anyone was found guilty and wrongfully charged. I might give more if you provided: -- The name of your brother. -- The date and location of the offense. -- The type and circumstances of the arrest. -- If this was a person-against-person crime (robbery, assault, homicide), the name of the victim and his or her relationship to your brother. As it is, you expect donors to take the word of you, his sister, for all the details of the case. Because you give no specifics, I cannot check news or other sources to confirm that what you are saying is true -- or who you are, or if you even have a brother. With all the scams on the Internet, I have no way of finding out if this is just another one. Please think about what I've written and add more information if you truly want to raise legal funds for your brother.
