Campaign Story
On Friday 2/28, a devastating fire destroyed a local historic building on Lindbergh Road in Ringoes. Among the many people affected by this devastating fire was my mother, Ginger Freeman Recchia. Some of you may know Ginger as “Tami or Samantha's mom” or have simply met her during the many events associated with Hopewell Fire Department. Although not physically injured, my mother left the house with only the clothes on her back and her purse. All of her worldly possessions were lost including the innocent lives of her cats.
I know so many of you have offered to help, and have asked what can be done. As we struggle to determine exactly what is needed to rebuild an entire life, we would like to allow those who so choose to help an avenue to do so. Whatever you can donate, is sure to help. No amount is too small.
Thank you everyone in advance for coming together as a community to help someone in need. It truly speaks volumes to the amazing integrity that can be found in this world. We will never be able to express how much every little thing you all have done has meant to us.
Thank you

I hope you and your children are adjusting, Ginger. I am so sorry about everything. I am a cat lover and your loss really touched my heart. I hope this helps you to rebuild your life. A little, at least. It's tough, of course, but please know there are a lot of people who genuinely care.

We are thinking and praying for Ginger and her family in this time of rebuilding. If nothing else good comes from this tragedy we hope that Ginger realizes how loved she is and how many people are here to help :-)
