I am working very hard to get enough money to pay my tuition fees for the Sustainable Community and Human Development degree at Prescott College. If enough people could even just spare a few dollars, it would help me continue with my passion to creating a better life for our people and planet!
In turn I PROMISE to continue making positive impact in the lives of individuals, our communities and the Earth. I will freely be of service, take on challenges that make a positive impact on Earth and it's communities, share my wisdom, listen deeply, write, sing, dance, create, inspire, and give away material items to others who need/want them. I will live with gratitude and love for every moment and being.
This is my commitment to myself, all beings and Mother Earth!
Rewards
Conversations about what it means to "donate" to a cause got me thinking about our different perceptions on cost/value and how subjective this is. Some people give and do acts of kindness because it makes them feel good...that is what's valuable to them. Others want concrete reward in turn for their products/services, so they can purchase the things that are valuable to them. There isn't really a wrong or right way of thinking. This is a basic concept around COMMUNITY. So, with my "campaign" I would like to offer that for every "donation" I receive, in turn I will provide an act (for an individual, community, or the environment) that YOU feel is worth that amount. If I don't agree with the value, I will not accept the donation. Some suggestions if you live close by: do yard work, make you a meal, watch you kids for an hour. If you are far, challenge me to: not drive for a day, run a certain distance, go without coffee/sugar/etc for a day, buy NOTHING for a week, etc. Think of something that would be worth that amount to YOU. Give me a task or challenge and I will work for my people and my planet!

Never give up on your dreams Amanda. I don't think this is some crazy idea to go off and get and Education to help create sustainable community. This is REALLY IMPORTANT work that you are heeding the call to. Maybe it seems crazy to your mind sometimes and maybe it seems like its never gonna work out. I believe the world is more crazy for not making Education and Community a priority. Continue to trust in your heart and and follow your path. The Grandmothers are with you and will help you. The Mother will take care of you in your commitment to take care of Her. Blessings on your Journey. I know many will be touched by your work and we NEED people doing the work you are doing. Without people like you putting themselves out there and taking risks and standing in what they believe in we arn't gonna make it far as a people or community. We all need leaders like you to have the courage to stand for and sometimes fight for what is in their heart. You are totally inspiring in your ask for support from your community! I totally support your path and can give a little bit of money. I can not buy that next 6 pack of beer or couple of overpriced coffee's and am happy to make that small sacrifice to support a friend following her heart and dreams and strong call to make a difference in this messed up world. For me this is bigger than just Amanda asking for a bit of money for her education. This is an opportunity to stand for and support all people who have a dream and believe in themselves enough to ask for help to get it. This is for me standing in support of all of us as beings who need help sometimes and helping in whatever way we can and in so doing I know I'm helping myself too. We are all in this thing together whether we like it or not. So if can support with a bit of money please do and click the link to donate. If can offer words and encouragement that inspire, awesome I always need more of that. Prayer and positive intention are more powerful than you may think.
