Hi!

Thank you for taking a minute to check out my campaign! My Name is Shenine.

I am a young business owner of just over 1 year and have a home salon where I carry out nails, beauty and natural holistic treatments. I specialise in natural alternatives and natural hair.

Having a sound understanding and experience in the field of natural alternatives and now my own business, I would like the opportunity to launch my own organic homemade product line to expand and reach out to people with something that can benefit everyone.

I want to help make natural alternatives just as convenient as the chemical based products found in the high street stores. Just like fast food and "quick fixes", convenience is the biggest reason why we choose unhealthier consumables and products. But most of the time, when we do see the healthier options, they are either expensive or not easily accessible or both!

My reason for starting my own personal care organic products is that I am a firm believer in:

1. We need to support more young entrepreneurs who's ventures benefit the community.

2. Natural healthier products shouldn't be marketed as "specialist" products making them expensive and more accessible to the wealthy but only a treat for working class people.

3. Products marketed as 'Natural' should be exactly that...Natural! And not a concoction of synthetic ingredients with minuscule portions of natural ingredients.

The message and primary ethic of my business is Community Empowerment. Everyone is beautiful and should be able to nurture their mind, body and soul in a safe and natural way without breaking the bank!

Every aspect of my business stands on the foundation that we can all succeed and reach our goals without exploiting or "ripping" someone else off. It is for this reason that I keep my prices low, well valued and 100% ethically sourced. This is more than just my business, it is a community movement to success through truth, transparency and unity.

This ethic and empowering approach is reflected through ALL areas of my business in:

1. Using only ethically sourced products

2. Supporting other local small businesses

3. Providing honest and realistic natural alternatives and advice

4. Maintaining low, fair prices in order to make products and services accessible and affordable to everyone. (High-end service for low-end prices)

5. Inspire and empower others to explore their roots and culture to gain knowledge and better understanding.

6. Empower others to venture out and away from the "Rat Race" and strive for independence from government systems which exploit the community.

The product range I want to launch will involve; Body Lotions, Bath/Shower products, organic personalised candles and hair products.

I have already researched ethical and local suppliers for materials/ Ingredients, regulations, costs etc and have saved up majority of my ideal start up budget so far, but I need a little help from you to bring this to life!

The products will be made by me in frequent batches (fortnightly or more frequent to meet demand) so they are fresh and hold more natural nutrition! The raw ingredients are perishable so I will NOT be buying them in huge bulks to store for long periods.

WHAT YOUR DONATION WILL BE USED FOR:

Your donation will help me to expand and maintain my reach to people through my services, products and sharing knowledge/ empowerment through social media channels e.g. website, youtube, Facebook, twitter etc. Being one person (with help of family) I need help with resources to bring this vision to life!

As a young business owner and entrepreneur I decided to stay clear of ANY form of government funding or enterprise schemes etc because many have 'catches', are only available to people to 'tick the right boxes' and also because I believe in community support.

I want to inspire and hopefully show younger generations that there IS an alternative road to success through honesty, unity and of course, hard work!
