Campaign Story
Rayana is an 9 year old girl, who fell off a swing at school, breaking her right arm in 2 places; after surgery and casting, the were told she would be fine, as it was a clean break; but her hand began to swell.
Although swelling is not uncommon, hers swelled to the point of cutting off all circulation. The doctor chose not to see her when her parents called the next day to say is was swollen to the point of her fingers turning blue, the doctor also did not see her or recommend the cast be removed.
The following day she was sent to Childrens Hospital in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and now is facing amputation of her arm. The family was told today that her arm MUST be removed or she will die.
The surgeon is hoping to cut below the elbow so she can be fitted with a prosthesis, but there is no guarantee.
This family is struggling to deal with this and the cost of traveling 2 1/2 hours each way to the hospital is overwhelming in cost.
Please open your hearts and help this family with their expenses as they stand by their little girl.
Tony and Beckie Fetters are the parents of Rayana and they also have a son Tyler, that unfortunetly has health issues they have dealt with since his birth. This family struggles on a daily basis, but this is putting them over the edge with financial woes. Their vehicle is not trustworthy to travel this distance. Tony is disabled and Beckie is the only income source, but now she is not working so she can be by her daughters side as they deal with this devastation.
I have known this family all their lives and they are always willing to help with anything they can to help someone else. Now it is time for us to help them.
Please consider donating to this cause. No amount is too small. The family will be so thankful and so will I. God Bless everyone, whether you do or do not donate.

On March 25th, 2015 Everett Area School District held its annual talent show. The talent show has been consistently well-attended and supported by not only students, staff, and parents, but also the community. Each year, the Talent Show donates its proceeds to a charitable cause. This year's talent show choose to donate to Everett Elementary School student Rayana Fetters. In addition to donations toward the Fetters family, the talent show committee also received hundreds of canned goods, which were donated to the food pantry in Everett. We are proud to contribute and help make a difference. Thoughts and prayers from Everett Area High School and Middle School!
