Peacefully, on June 21, 2015, the world lost a great man, loved and respected by his colleagues, students, friends and family. Known most often only by his first name, Roman Onufrijchuk was, as the SFU School of Communications describes, a man of “boundless intellect, whose deep and abiding commitment to students, whose passion for the classroom, whose teaching brilli8ance inspired generations of students.”
To say that he will be missed is an understatement. The shock and heartbreak following his passing weighs heavily on us all.
This campaign has been organized in remembrance of Roman to assist Rita during this incredibly difficult time. Our hearts are with Roman and his beloved family.
