Since the outbreak of Covid-19 in the Philippines, our group in JCI-Zugbuana immediately took the initiative to donate masks, gloves, water, vitamins to Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center - one of the public hospitals in Cebu with the most number of PUIs.

With the efforts gathered by our team and by other people, we were able to do 2nd round of Zugbuana Cares to the frontliners of Eversley Hospital in Mandaue City.

For our first and second batch, we were able to provide a total of:
400 N95 masks, 40 N98 masks
300 pairs of gloves,
1000 Vitamin C tablets
500 cloth masks for non-medical staff
5 gallons of alcohol
For Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center.

Day by day, we read news that hospitals are in dire need for Personal Protective Equipment which includes safety helmets, face masks, N95, gloves, eye protection, hazmat suit, safety footwear and other necessary medical protective gears. We feel the struggle and the fear of every health worker, that's why we want to continue producing funds for us to provide their essential needs in fighting against Covid-19.

And n
ow that the number of corona virus cases continuously increase day by day, and that province of Cebu is on Enhanced Community Quarantine, a lot of people lost jobs and are uncertain on what to put on the table. This includes our street dwellers who take odd jobs just to survive. Thus, our we decided to do Zugbuana Cares Batch 4 where we will give food supplies to the street dwellers and some barangay volunteers who have very much less in life.

While we remain at home, fed and in comfort, many others remain outside, hungry and in danger. While most fill their cupboards with goods, some fill theirs with just hope that they have something to eat tomorrow.

ZUGBUANA CARES 4.0 in partnership with SKF-Cebu City & WeFeed aims to distribute at least 50-100 bundles of joy + meal per week to displaced families. Our target is to distribute 3x to these families starting March 31 - April 4.

Main Contents of each pack are:
  • Rice
  • Bread/Biscuits
  • Canned Goods

Every help, no matter how small, will mean a lot to our beneficiaries already.

Rest assured that all donations will be tracked accordingly and we will give you updates on this page every now and then.
