Zivic Family Fund & Dog treatment

I live with my grandmother, mother and a dog. My grandfather passed away due to lifelong illness, he had his left leg amputated due to diabetes. My grandmother is retired, my mother works as a nurse and quit studies to volunteer in a local supermarket while searching for a job, to support my family. We share a yard with our relatives, my grandfather's brother's family. Over the years we tried hard to maintain peace in the yard, until 25th of September this year. We had two dogs, sisters from the same litter who grew up in the house with us. They brought happiness in our one bedroom home - they taught us how to love on a new level. Whenever we would let them run in the yard, we would monitor them, because the family we share a yard with hated them.

On Wednesday Sept. 25th, we let the dogs run as usual. They ran for not even a minute when we noticed them slow down their walks and uncontrollable shaking. One of our dogs, Lila, dropped down on the ground within a minute. We called the vet immediately and rushed both dogs to the clinic. Our beloved Lila passed away in just 15 minutes time. Our Luna received instant treatments and shots, luckily she was saved. Our dogs were poisoned - a strong poison that kills in about 20 minutes time. Our vet was kind enough to let us pay the costs when we have enough money for it. We were heartbroken. My grandfather's brother has always been violent - he had several reports in the police for family violence. He has always been like that to us 3 women, too. He poisoned our dogs and cleaned up all proof while we were at the vet’s, so we have no proof to sue him.

I started this fundraiser to raise funds to pay my dogs' vet treatments and a new place to live. We don't feel safe anymore in this small house we live in - he had physically attacked both my mother and grandmother since my grandfather passed away. The man has killed countless of stray cats and other types of animals in the yard we live in. We are afraid for our safety and our dog's safety.
