Zeikeen Eryx’s fight against MDS

I am writing this on behalf of my nephew, Zeikeen Eryx Minguillan, 9 months old baby and was diagnosed with MDS. MDS stands for Myelodysplastic syndrome, which is also sometimes referred to as pre-leukemia. MDS refers to a group of disorders in which the bone marrow stem cells — primitive cells that give rise to all the different types of blood cells — are defective, causing an inadequate production of blood cells. Essentially, his platelet counts are abnormally low which raises concern for major infections, sickness, and uncontrollable bleeding. It is very rare among children. Only 4 in 1 million kids are said to have MDS.

Unfortunately, there will be very little income during this time period due to the tough circumstances. His mother is off from work for 3 months now and his father is sick due to acute hyperacidity. They have exhausted all their resources including Zeikeen's medical insurance but it is still difficult to find enough money for the medical expenses. With that being said, we are asking our amazing sphere of friends and family to help make this difficult process a little bit easier by contributing. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
