Campaign Story
Hi! I'm Yuki, a BS Development Communication graduate from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, and my undergraduate research entitled 'Insanity Onscreen: A Textual Analysis on the Portrayal of Mental Illness in Philippine Mainstream Cinema' has fortunately been accepted for presentation at The Asian Conference on Media, Communication & Film (MediAsia2019) on October 25-27, 2019 in Tokyo, Japan.
I'm incredibly excited to have been given this opportunity! However, as much as I want to celebrate, the event is in two months (AAAHHHH!!!) and the amount of money needed for me to be able to participate is a tad too heavy for my middle-class pocket... which brings me here, humbly asking for your support. A little would go a looong, long way. Words of encouragement would also be very much appreciated! Maybe share this campaign as well while you’re at it?
Whichever way you’re sending your love, thanks so much! Hopefully I'll have some MediAsia stories to share the next time you hear from me.
