Your Help Can Make Him Walk Again

He is suffering from Lumbar Canal Stenosis, the condition in which there is a severe nerve compression in Lumbosacral region of Spine. There are degenerative changes in the Lumbar Spine from L1 to L5.

This nerve is a major nerve extending from the lower end of the spinal cord down the back of the thigh, and dividing above the knee joint. It is the nerve with the largest diameter in the human body.

The nerve is being compressed under the spine region, which is not supplying the blood to the lower limbs properly due to which he is unable to stand and walk. If it is left untreated, the condition will become worse which could lead to paralysis.

And if he would not able stand and walk, his physical condition will get deteriorate, his other vital organs such as heart and kidney will also not be able to function properly due to improper blood flow and also digestive disorder because of "no physical movement".

He has been advised immediate spine decompression surgery to overcome this situation, it is a type of surgery used to treat compressed nerves in the lower (lumbar) spine.

The surgery aims to improve symptoms such as persistent pain and numbness in the legs caused by pressure on the nerves in the spine. This surgery involves some life risk too in elder age, but as a matter of hope, we do not want to leave any stone unturned.

As of now we're running out of funds. We have exhausted all our funds and have no way to find her treatment any further. We have spent so much on non invasive treatment which is of no use for him. We do not have enough funds left to carry on the treatment, for the surgery and the post operative treatment.
