You can be a miracle for Remy

Remigio Israel, or "Remy," as he is affectionately known, is the father of Rhea Fhatima Israel and the husband of Jona Israel, both of whom live in Sabang, Danao City, Cebu.This 51-year old is currently fighting for his survival against this inevitable death at Chong Hua Hospital Mandaue.

Prior to seeking medication at the aforementioned facility, Remy’s health was noticed to be deteriorating, experiencing an unusual bowel movement. His bulky body structure was gone, and his pale skin and sluggish motions caused the family to worry.

On February 11, 2022, with the help of the company where he had worked for the longest time, they referred him to Chong Hua hospital. That same night, he was brought to the hospital and was immediately catered to. The doctors performed different kinds of tests to trace the cause of Remy’s poor health condition. Of those numerous tests, he initially tested positive for COVID-19 and was required to be in isolation together with his wife, who was with him all this time. Because he was fully vaccinated, the doctors did not hesitate to take good care of him. However, right after those numerous tests, the doctors found out that he had stage 4 colon cancer.

The cancer has already affected Remy’s vital organs, like the lungs and liver, and has now reached his brain, causing him to behave abnormally. He could not stand and talk anymore. With Remy’s situation, the hospital bill has risen rapidly. There were moments when the required medication would not be administered because his hospital account was blocked and required another downpayment to be opened again as per the hospital’s policy. As of this writing, Remy needed to undergo a series of dialysis treatments as a preventative measure. He already took the first session, and the bill skyrocketed to almost 450,000 pesos.

With Remy’s current situation, life wasn't certain. He needs thorough medication to prolong his life, and that medication needs money to be executed. The family has already run out of funds and needs immediate assistance. As of this time, Remy’s family is clinging to God’s miracle, and hoping that miracle is YOU.
