To all of our family, friends and who are willing to help, we are reaching out to your kind and generous hearts.

My wife, Catrina Fernandez-Garcia, and I have been recently diagnosed with COVID-19 and are currently battling its effects. I am now being quarantined in one of the facilities designated for Dasmariñas Cavite residents. Unfortunately, my wife needs to be confined in an ICU of Dasmariñas City Medical Center and getting costly treatments due to severe pneumonia. The cost of this treatment cannot be covered anymore by our health insurance considering that it’s only her 2nd day in the hospital. The expense is increasing further and we may not be able to immediately provide everything for her.

Given my family's financial situation, our source of income was really down and negative since 2018 to 2019. We were looking forward then to bounce back this 2020 but Taal eruption and pandemic came. We were really hit hard financially, and this is the very down moment of our life. We are still trying so much to survive this pandemic. As much as I would love to do everything for my wife, I am also confined in this facility and cannot do anything but to get help from people who can give any help for us.

With everything that is happening, we are still very thankful that our son, Ikoy, as most of you know who is a special child, and my in-laws who are both senior citizens, have been found NEGATIVE of the virus.

Having said this, we would appreciate any help you can extend to my family. Any amount would be very much appreciated and we will always remember and be thankful for it for the rest of our lives.
