We need your help

Nora Rivera is my aunt and like a mother to me. She’s a housewife with 3 children in the Philippines. As the whole world knows Philippines is one of the countries heavilly affected by the pandemic, early in July her working daughter contracted COVID 19 virus unknowingly and infected her family unfortunately and were admitted to the hospital.

My aunt got severely infected with the virus. On 22 July she was transferred to the ICU and was intubated. Today is her 44th day in the hospital, the running bill has now reached 5.5 million pesos. The family and us (relatives) only came from an average income and with our current livelihood, especially theirs they can only afford little and to tell you honestly they can barely afford to daily needs.

My cousin who was hospitalized along with my aunt and auncle had already passed away due to pulmonary embolism caused by COVID 19. My uncle fortunately with God’s grace had gotten out of the hospital, but still weak and in treatment. My aunt still do not know about their son's demise because of the big stress they may hit her and so the family have decided to tell once her health status improved. My cousin has left 2 kids. The eldest is just 5 years old and the youngest is still a toddler. Their dad is the breadwinner of the family and a loving doting father. Imagine how their life will be, growing up without a dad.

The family also has no capacity to pay the expenses. We just hope that we can get donations to at least help our family and will lessen hospital bill. We are also asking for your prayers for her well being.

As a niece to my loving aunt, this is the only way I know I can help financially. I am writing to ask for your help spread this to those who are in capaple of helping. 🙏
