We are humbly asking your help for our grandfather’s hospitalization bill.

Our father/grandfather who is known to be Martin de Guzman was diagnosed of 'Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm'. Two days ago he experienced abdominal pain accompanied by dizziness and vomiting.

The next day we decided to go to Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Alabang, we already know that this hospital might exhaust our resources but due to this pandemic most of the hospitals are full in capacity due to covid. When the CT Scan result is released, they found out that there is an active bleeding from our lolo's abdomen. In short, there is a leakage from the aortic aneurysm. The specialist told us that he needs to undergo for a life-threatening operation that may possibly lead to death. The longer the delay, the higher it's chances that our lolo will not survive. Our family decided to proceed with the operation despite that we know that we don't have this huge amount of funds and all we have is our huge faith in God. The doctor advised us that the total cost will be 1.5M. They did a lot of tests and procedures to determine where is the bleeding coming from by doing CT angiogram which is way too expensive.

Luckily, The result came out and God already work in his mysterious ways. The doctor said that he is a candidate for 'Endograft' procedure that will lessen the risk of the operation but of-course it will cost us more. But unfortunately, the cathlab of the hospital is under preventive maintenance and the nearest hospital that can perform the said procedure is at St.Lukes Medical Hospital in Global city, Taguig. Lolo told my mom that

"kung gusto pa ko ni Lord buhayin sana pagalingin na niya ko, kung wala ng plano si Lord sakin sana wag na Niya ko pahirapan".

They transfer us there within the day because the time is running out. Fast forward, God really lay His hands to our beloved lolo, operation was successful, our lolo has stable vital signs, and the bleeding stops. 24 hours after the procedure our lolo's recovery went well. He is awake, stable vital signs, eating alone, and sitting on the sofa. God is really amazing.

Our "Lolo" is already 83 years old. He is a school/company bus driver back then in San Sebastian College way back 90's to 2000. He is also a man of God, devoted Catholic man. He is not just a grandfather to us, but he is a great man, a great father to his children, and a loving husband to our lola. Today is their 62nd wedding anniversary.

He is still in the ICU and as of today the updated running bill is already 1.175M pesos. We are humbly asking and knocking in your hearts to support my fund raising to help my lolo's hospital bill.
