By the way of introduction, we're a group of 5 Young Vietnamese Catholic persons who are preparing for our very first trip to Krakow, Poland this July to be volunteers for the World Youth Day 2016 ("WYD").
We'd like to raise fund for our trip to WYD and the pilgrimage then. As we plan to make a pilgrimage to some places in Krakow (Poland), Prague (Czech Republic), Rome, Cassino and Venice (Italia), we welcome your prayer requests in personal messages or emails. It is nice to us to be your pray deliverer to such holy places, especially Vatican.
For your information of our progress: (this progress is updated for further add-in while we carry out the preparation steps before and during our time in the WYD and the pilgrimage):
1. To get volunteer confirmation form WYD organizer: We together planned for this trip from last year and all applied for volunteer positions. After 1 month of the documents submission, we were interviewed by the WYD organization and it was so fabulous that we were all passed and validated as volunteers for WYD.
2. To get visa from Embassy: Once getting such excited information, we started the stage of visa application. We were told that it's quite difficult for Vietnamese to get a Schengen visa, especially for those who did not have strong finance like us. Although we were worry for this a lot but still carefully collected, prepared, cross-checked everything for the application. Eventually, we successfully booked a date with the Polish Embassy in Hanoi and flied from our province to the capital for the documents submission and interviewed at the end of April. Fortunately, in spite of our weak finance, the Embassy has granted us the visa. It's such a miracle that God rewards us for our effort and prayers.
