The Free AIRBNB for runners globally

I am driven by passion and belief to make the world of running exceptional and accessible around the world. www.wanna-run.com is launching in December, and will enable runners around the world to host one another for free for races, list unused gear, help each other by arranging lifts to races and list unused entries to races. It is ALL about paying it forward back into the running community.

After pretotyping the idea over the last 6 months, close to 400 sign-ups have been received and the Facebook Page for WannaRun has 995 followers (as at today). The sign-ups for hosts and runners grow organically. I work with Startup coach and growth & innovation mentor Leslie Barry.

An amount of ZAR 79,500.00 is required for the first phase of the website, which will include the components and functionality as mentioned above. This is a complex booking system that incorporates booking and listing functionality similar to Airbnb, Facebook and Gumtree, with a lot of automation.

YOUR REWARD: You will be able to run the globe for free :-), including a free stay in our house for one week in Sydney if you come and do a race here (we'd normally offer 2 nights).

IMPORTANT: Full financial records of donations will be kept and will have the full campaign donations verified by an auditor in compliance with the Australian Securities & Investment Commission. It will further be verified in the audit that donations were spent on the expenses as per the quotation Number QU594 as issued by Triangular X Interactive Media for the amount of ZAR 79,500.00. The funds will go via registered Australian business GetToTheStart PTY LTD ACN 620 993 071.
