Volunteering in Thailand

Hi! My name is Maria and I'm 18. This year I just graduated and I'm really happy. This summer I don't want to go party or waste my time, after wondering a lot about it, I decided volunteering in Thailand for one moth and a half! I'm really amused about it but, there's a little issue, it's very expensive. I could earn a little with part-time jobs but I still need more to pay the program fees. I decide to create this campaign with the hope to get some help, every donation is welcomed, even if it's just 1$. Below I leave you the information of my program with children.

Childcare Volunteering Work in Thailand

As a volunteer on the Childcare project in Thailand, you will work in childcare centers in the local villages of Chiang Rai and surrounding hill tribes. Children between the ages of 2 to 6 years old come to the centers during the day.

This project is well suited to volunteers who have a passion for education and enjoy working with young children.

Your tasks can include running educational and learning activities, maintaining the classroom and helping the children at mealtimes. Volunteers will run activities for approximately 90 minutes in a morning and then assist with cleaning, distributing food and eating lunch with the children. After lunch volunteers will help with childcare related activities, which may include such tasks as: gardening, resource development, as well as planning for the upcoming lessons.

You are not required to be qualified or an experienced teacher to participate on this project but you will be required to discuss your topics with the teacher.
