Volunteer Online-Concerts for the Elderly Invalids from All Over the World!

This socially oriented charitable creative Project was created to draw public attention to the problems of creative disabled people, whose tireless and selfless work for the benefit of other people with disabilities needs your kind care and support !!!

Despite all his own difficulties and health problems Family Creative Tandem "Retro" from the city of Belgorod, Russia: head - Veteran of labor, wheelchair invalid Raisa Nikolaevna Prokofieva and her son - singer-composer, also disabled, Alexander Prokofiev (Vozovik) organize and intend to continue to conduct their volunteer online charity concert performances on the Internet in a retro style for elderly people with disabilities from different parts of all over our planet on an absolutely free basis with its unique program "Favorite songs and romances of the XX century" in all major European languages! Currently, in the context of a pandemic, it will not only be online concerts, but most importantly, such interesting communications with the elderly audience remotely via Skype, for which they already have the necessary experience!

Tireless and long-term creativity for the benefit of other people:

For 25 years of creative socially useful tireless work, the artists have translated into English and German and performed more than 50 folk songs, old romances and songs of the retro period, 19 author's works of the tandem were born, too.

The main goal and the uniqueness of all entire creative life of the tandem "Retro" is to convey to the hearts of listeners all over the world the wealth, all the extraordinary beauty and depth of the content of the musical and song culture of Russia, using their strong knowledge of foreign languages and the magical power of musical art!

Mission and objectives of the project -

The motto of the family creative tandem "Retro": "Always bring goodness and light to the world through the successful combination of your solid knowledge in many European languages and the magic power of musical art!"

The main goal, mission and primary task of this project is undeniably taking care of all disadvantaged people in order to somehow brighten up their difficult life. In order to improve their physical health, and most importantly, the quality of spiritual life, that every morning, waking up, Raisa Nikolaevna and Alexander think about every day and tirelessly, disinterestedly giving all their strength and positive energy to all elderly people in need and deprived of our attention and warmth age, mostly disabled and Labor Veterans. The audience, in turn, endows the artists with the warmth of their souls - numerous stormy ovations and enthusiastic exclamations, thus expressing their admiration and respect!

Project results for 2020

Until 2020, over the years, these were numerous live-concerts of the tandem for people with disabilities. In 2020, many online concert performances were held, where disabled people from many various social institutions received a lot of positive emotions and a surge of new vitality!

BIOGRAPHY

Prokofieva Raisa Nikolaevna, born in 1937, Veteran of labor, wheelchair-bound invalid of the II group (leg injury), graduate of the Leningrad State Pedagogical Institute. A. Herzen, 1959, faculty of foreign languages, teacher of English, German and French, teaching experience - 50 years, 17 years of work even after the appointment of a pension.

Son, Alexander Prokofiev - singer-composer has 2 higher educations. Since 1995 she is the head of the family creative tandem "Retro" as a poet-translator. She is the only one in the country who translated more than 50 Russian retro songs and romances into foreign languages, and also composed many of her own texts for musical works! With her unique program she performed in the "Retro" tandem at the Sochi 2014 Olympics as the author of many Olympic songs. For 25 years, she has been volunteering for other people with disabilities with numerous charity retro concerts absolutely for free! They say that their family even is the distant relatives to the roots of the family of great composer Sergey Prokofiev!

What is the material resources of the Project for?

1. Purchase of some musical instruments, in particular, a laptop and some office equipment for creating a small home mini-audio studio for the purpose of recording music for the elderly audience.

2. There are some very high costs for the rehabilitation treatment of the poet-translator herself - Prokofieva Raisa Nikolaevna, who, in turn, has already been going through a long period of recovery for many years after a rather serious leg injury received earlier, but despite all these difficulties and problems, clutching his barely bearable physical pain and unyielding will in a fist, she continues to actively engage in socially-oriented creativity for the benefit of other people together with his son Alexander.
