Recently, my mother Viviane was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer. We were devastated by the news but the doctors assured that it is curable. The treatment however will cost us thousands and we unfortunately couldn’t afford it.
She is the only parent I have left after the passing of my father due to accident last July. Despite everything that we have gone through, she is still the same strong person with smile on her face and I know she will survive this battle.
She will have to undergo chemotherapy and afterwards a partial mastectomy followed by radiation therapy. Possibly more chemotherapy.
My mother will not be able to work due to treatments while I have a part time job which currently on hold due to Covid and I’m also a student. I’m not ready to lose another parent. Hence, I humbly ask for your gracious support to help us in our darkest days.
