Campaign Story
September 3, 2023
Three challenges are given. First is Jaggy having open surgical wound and enlarged spleen due to ehrlichia. Second, one of the regular outsider has swollen private part, possibly another case of TVT. Third, a worm/maggot-infested kitten was rescued in the middle of heavy rain.
It's the beginning of the month. House rent, bills and food for the month are the priorities during this time. Can those three challenges wait? Is it possible to get help again? Which one should I do first?
Of course, each one needs immediate attention. Jaggy was already brought to the vet and is currently confined. She needs at least 7 days confinement to get better and a month of medications. Tomorrow, Gurama the male dog, will be brought to the vet for initial check up.
Transmissible Venereal Tumor (TVT) is a type of cancer that spreads through mating. It can be prevented by spaying and neutering and can be treated by chemotherapy.
