I'm a Venice italy citizen. Will you help me convert an "old lady of the seas" to electric motor and power saving system to inspire people of the world doing the same?
The aim is to demonstrate by a real example that with determination and mutual help we can help fragile environments (like in Venice) to be visited with less impact (noise, pollution, etc.)
I decided to embark on an epic and same time concretely small project and share this experience in all possible ways (documenting this adventure in vlogs, social posts, a project website and cruising in Venice Lagoon, participating to regattas in the high Adriatic sea and to Boat shows.
Even your smallest support is fundamental in order to transform this attitude into reality. Participating in this platform to acquire these funds help strengthen our community of followers.
If you ever visited Venice, you will have the possibility to spend a night in the boat, moored in front of St. Mark's square! If you already are a Venice lover, please come back and meet me at the boat, maybe sharing ideas on a cruise in St. Mark's square.
The sponsorship could allow us to actively participate in the growth of Venice, to support sustainable future projects and research, for example the boat could be equipped among the first dated boats in the world with an electric engine.
I will adopt and become the flag bearer of the forum on the arsenal and the lagoon of Venice: (https://futuroarsenale.org/) awareness activities, visits to the boat during the boat shows
I will organize free navigations to scholars to bring them closer to sailing (collaboration with the sail company, Morosini navigation school of Venice, etc.) or to help them pass the practical examination of the captains' sail giving an opportunity, for example, to them wishing to obtain a license for learn the practice at costs much lower than those of a sailing school.
The boat could occasionally host cruises for children on Legambiente summer camps, WWF camps, etc. (https://www.legambiente.it/campi-di-volontariato/)
Further studies on design and historical recovery and into innovative mobility solutions at low costs.
And Regattas .. so many regattas to spread the core values of this project.
Come on board!
