Velocity X Dance crew for WCOPA

Hello everyone!

We, Velocity X Dance Crew from Kalibo Aklan Philippines, was recently auditioned last November 3, 2018 at SM City Iloilo and accepted to participated as a member of the Team Philippines at The World Championships of Performing Arts at Long Beach, California USA this July 12-21, 2019. The program promotes international understanding while building leadership skill. The 12 days experience includes meeting other contestants from different countries, workshops and educational activities. As well as competing in different categories including Dance.

We are honored to have been selected. Personally, we are looking forward to broadening our perspectives of the world and gaining a better understanding of the Performing Arts. Upon our return, We plan to share our experience with other dancers, schools in our community. As a Team Philippines member. We can also earn scholarships because of the many educational elements in the program.

The program tuition is $ 4,000 each member of the group wich we are 9 members so we need a total of $36,000 for the group.. Which includes our registration fees, visa, airfaires, transportations and accomodation. We are asking contributors to donate any amount would be appreciated. We plan to give a speech and share our journal, photographs, and experiences with contributors upon our return.
