UTENA MTB-ROAD BICYCLE CLUB-TEAM

Hello, i am Irmantas Čiplis, i am 39 years old, from Utena town, Lithuania. I was fifteen years working in sport company-shop in Lithuania. . We was working with all sport goods-inventor, sport clothes, trainers, cups and of course bicycles ( bikes, accessories, repairing, spare parts ). I was sales manager in this company and working with bicycles and sport goods. Now i am working in Norway,how a bicycle mechanic for 6 months in the year ( the season work ).

Utena town is famous how bicysle town – because in our town started carrer lot of famous Lithuanian rouad race and track cyclists.

Our town have sport education centre and here is one of a lot position: cycling. But for the few last years in this sport centre is only bigger boys group and just few girls. Childrens dont want to start with sport , whey better sitting by the computers, or phones and dont want to to nothing. And also another big problem with bicycle ( cycling ) sport in our town and in all Lithuania is - money, sponsoring. Because cycling sport is not very chaep sport and second problem that our companys big money is giving to Nr. 1 sport in Lithuania – basketball, and its very difficult to young childrens ( bicycle riders ) to find sponsors. And i thing without sponsoring is difficult to have good-high results in the competitions.

SO. We ( Utena bikes riders - enthusiasts ) more then 10 years are going to MTB and Road challenges in Lithuania, Poland, Latvia, Estonia ( with our money ). So we all with friends ( Utena bikes riders - enthusiasts ) decided to make a bicycle club -team and we want to help at first for childrens, what they more interested in this sport, and to popular once more cycling and cycling sport at first in Utena and in all our country.. It could be like how cycling education club. But of course is only one and bigest problem is money. So i decided to write letter and send by emeil to not Lithuania companys , people. Maybe you ( or yours company ) could help or be our team sponsorship.

We need about 10 000 – 15 000 Eur ( its for one season ) – of course if you could , you could help and for bigger sum of money. This money would be for : to have our team- club sport base , to bying bicycles, bus, spare parts, clothes, to go for races and other. We dont say what you must to give (of course if you can) all this sum of money. No if you can you give how you can ( 1 , 500 ,1000 , 10 000Eur or another sum ).
