WHAT IS PISE?

PISE (Project Incubator for Young Social Entrepreneur) is a community with an aim to disrupt the opportunity gaps among Vietnamese high school students of socially and geographically disadvantaged background and navigate them to life-changing opportunities in Vietnam and abroad.

WHO ARE WE?

We are a group of Vietnamese students from various backgrounds who live and study around the world. What unites us all is our aspiration to foster a powerful network which will provide disadvantaged youth in second and third tier cities in Vietnam valuable opportunities and connections. We dearly call this accelerating network PISE (Project Incubator for Young Social Entrepreneurs).

WHERE IT ALL BEGINS?

Making use of the fast-growing, widespread usage of Internet and the burgeoning entrepreneurial spirit in Vietnam, we strive to become a community that navigates students of socially and geographically disadvantaged background to life-changing opportunities in Vietnam and abroad.

OUR OBJECTIVES:

-To spur entrepreneurial spirit among aspiring, but socially and geographically disadvantaged student in Vietnam

-To establish an extensive, well-connected network of aspiring Vietnamese students of all background.

-To nurture, and to transform innovative ideas into reality.

-To create a universal youth organization's model that can be scale-up and implemented all over Vietnam.

WHAT WE HAVE DONE SO FAR?

- Successfully connecting with Dong Thap province and successfully organizing bootcamp at Nguyen Quang Dieu High school for the Gifted with the participation of 15 mentees and 5 mentors.

- Incubate 5 projects: Bookfit, Dong Thap Talks, Time, Project Connect, The Plannin
-5 out of 15 former PISE members will study abroad in 2019

- 7/15 former PISE members became co-hosts for PISE 2019
