Typhoon “Tisoy” Relief Program in Bicol, Albay Philippines

Hi Everyone, as you might have heard from the news that the beautiful Province of Albay where I grew was recently hit by a typhoon "Tisoy" the night of December 2, 2019. The damage was horrible and irreversible for the people in my community where their only source of income is farming.

Tisoy made landfall in neighboring Sorsogon province at around 11 pm Monday, but destroyed government and private infrastructure as well as agricultural crops in Albay and surrounding provinces. It also hit land in Oriental Mindoro Tuesday afternoon.

In an initial report, the Albay Public Safety Emergency Management Office (Apsemo) said 93 houses were totally damaged while 515 were critically damaged, amounting to P29.05 million.

It was a devastating experience, they have no power since the night of the typhoon and no means of communication until now due to the damage from the natural disaster.

I would like to ask a generous donation from you, a small amount will do to help the families in my community rebuild their homes, and start a new life by providing some relief. Especially Christmas is coming.

All proceeds for this donation will be given to the community in my area, Polangui Albay which was highly affected by the typhoon with water level waist-deep.
