Tunis Street Animal Rescue’s NEW shelter (200+ animals)

As you may or may not know the street animal situation in Tunis is out of control. Beautiful dogs are being shot to control the population, they are abandoned and abused by their owners and left starving and roaming the streets, desperate for a loving home they rightfully deserve. I am hands on rescuing more than I have space to accommodate, plus our current residential accommodation has made it clear I cannot keep more than 2 animals so we should vacate the property by the end of the month. And I will not turn my back on these poor souls so we must move to a better place.

We are not yet an association, just a few people who are helping a lot lot of animals day and night. We are fighting for animal rights in Tunis and trying to take animals off the streets and rehome them before they are shot, but it’s a ticking time bomb.

We have found a large venue, free from problematic neighbors, set In beautiful surroundings just south of the capital. We will be able to save the lives of more than 200 animals. Tunis Street Animal Rescue just needs a little initial boost from donations to secure the property (funds towards the deposit) and make a few modifications needed by the end of the month. Modifications will include; 150 kennels, cattery, on site veterinarian cabinet, initial food stock, and potentially a bathing area for the animals.

We are very serious, professional and passionate and want to move quickly. Lives are at extreme risk every day and it’s so very sad. They have openly published the fact they are shooting in all areas again at the moment and it breaks our hearts. Please please support us on this project. Your donations are vitally important.
