A deadly typhoon Rai (Odette) has struck the Philippines, killing hundreds of people, leaving thousands homeless and displacing hundreds of thousands of residents. Many of you may have seen it on the news. Following the immense devastation caused by this storm, many of Filipinos are in need of assistance and relief.
From December 16 to 17, the typhoon made landfall at least nine times, causing forced evacuations and wreaking havoc in parts of the Visayas and Mindanao. It also had an impact on electrical lines, resulting in blackouts in various regions up to this point.
Your generosity will be highly welcomed in this donation drive, as we work together to rebuild the community and supply the most basic commodities that the community requires, especially during these tough times.
Canned groceries, rice sacks, noodles, medicines, water, and solar lights/chargers are just a few of the items we'll consider with your donations. We may also assist them in re-building their damaged homes with your assistance by giving housing materials and equipment.
WE'RE KNOCKING AT YOUR HEARTS! My fellow Filipinos require your assistance, and they require it now more than ever. May the impacted families' faces be brightened by your simple and compassionate deeds, and may the blessings you share be multiplied.
We appreciate you in advance for answering humanity's call in this trying situation, and we wish you and your family a HAPPY NEW YEAR!
