Tsak Bam Festival is a spontaneous contemporary art festival that takes place on the island of Aegina, Greece, outside the city centers and city walls. It gathers people from all walks of life and art to give voice to whatever is urgent in the here and now. To offer space for experimentation, risk, dialogue and collaboration. To re-imagine and redefine contemporary art and its relation to the public and the environment. With whatever we have available.
After our last year’s absence due to coronavirus, this year we are organizing the 4th Tsak Bam Festival, at the Kollato estate, a large, friendly garden with many corners that offer themselves as interesting stages. Artistic activities in situ (performance, music, films, installations, poetry, stories), will be presented to the public on 23, 24, 25 July 2021.
Creative workshops for children and adults complete the festival programme.
This year we are adding to the programme the Bam Project: short happenings in the streets and public spaces of the center of Aegina that will take place on the 22, 23, 24, 25 July.
To make this happen, we rely on lots of voluntary work, donations, small sponsorships of local organisations and ask for your additional support.
All of your contributions go directly into the material and technical needs of the festival, lighting, sound, building material, posters, flyers, transportation, contribution to the artists’ living expenses.
Any contribution is welcome and makes a real difference!
We hope to see you at Tsak Bam Festival!
