Transiting to Solar Power

Change is the only constant in this world. With the world temperatures rising, we would like to reduce our carbon footprint and one way to do that is by using solar power. However it is costly which is why we need your help in raising the funds.

Based on our electricity bill, the average energy consumption is about 1000kWh per month or 33kWh per day. Based on our location, we would have at least 6 hours of good sunlighty goodness for energy.

The plan is to have 8 panels with 200W output installed which would be like a 9.6kWh per day system. While googling around the average installation price is about $3usd per watt which gives a grand total of 4800usd for 8 panels. The goal has a bit of allowance as different companies have different prices so our goal is set to 5k usd.

The power output is not much but at least its a good start and hopefully you can help us into our journey to a greener future.
